Today, 19th November, is International Men’s Day. Today, we are supposed to either celebrate being a man or celebrate the #men in our life.
Since 2007, we started celebrating International Men’s Day in India and every year we did some or the event to observe it. In 2008, we did a bike & car rally, 2009 we had organised a discussion in Mysore University, 2010 we had organised a fun fest in a prominent mall in Bangalore and engaged around 800 people telling them about men’s day. This was repeated in 2012. 2013&14 we did art galleries about men’s day.
But now there are 2 distressing developments about men’s day that I am observing.
